Even though it seems damn near impossible to do I figured I would give it a shot anyways......
projectors are mini morimoto (H1) W/ morimoto 5k bulbs bought from the retrofit source.
Started with these stock assemblies made by autosystems

After destroying one pair of headlights I decided that a dremel was the only way I could continue with the retrofit.

Got everything seperated after some patience, time and heat lol

Decided to paint the bezel body color...

The final product.......

What do you guys think??

Thanks.....
Total cost. Was between $150 and $200
as far as night time visibility goes it def was an improvement over the previous plug and play hid's I had installed. No more blinding people lol it def takes some adjusting to though because you get used to that Big blob of light directly in front of the car and with these the light is projected much farther in front of the car.. I drove in a snowstorm yesterday morning and I could def see a difference. These projectors are also bi-xenon so It gives me HID high beams also. I decided to make the factory high beams my Drl's with these white 9005 leds that have 120 smd leds. they are definitely bright lol

Very impressive. Any chance of getting a photo of the lights against a wall to see how the scatter is?

That's a fantastic job for a DIY retrofit. Nicely done.

Did you heat it up in the dryer there? lol Laughing

Love the retrofit though! I do love the the matching body color for your care, looks clean. I think you can only pull that off with a few colors.

Now, how much for you to do me a pair Cool

i agree on that... was working on a retrofit for the impala with the same kit you purchased... did you dremel out the center to make room or just attached the retrofit how the instructions went? Also, what bulbs were the LED ones you did for the drl lights and the kit number for the bi xenon? Definitely love the turnout these did for ya.
