I've been wanting to change the color of my angel eyes in my headlights. Does anyone know what bulbs are used for them? I want to go with red maybe, has anyone done this ? Any help would be appreciated.

Are they CCFL or LED?

If CCFL, I dont thing its an easy swap of a bulb, I think the ring is the bulb itself.

You can measure the rings and buy new ones from a place like AAC or Flashtech. You can get rings on ebay as well, but dont know the quality.

Would require opening up the lights though

They're LEDs. they look like it's as easy as swapping the bulbs, but idk what bulbs they take. my cars still at the shop so I'm goin from memory. Im not sure if they're soldered in or what, just seeing if anyone has done it before and what bulbs were used to replace them.

ok, might want to look into replacement rings anyway. You can get RGB LED rings that you can change the color with the push of a button. Just an option for you.

I know if I was doing halo rings, thats what I would do. Unlimited color choices with the flick of a switch.

all colors except white or amber are illegal in the front of a vehicle. May change with each state.

I have been running led switchbacks for 2 years now.....love em lol. Opening those aftermarket projectors are pretty easy. Opening stock headlights are hard lol but can be done
