i went to my car on my lunch break and noticed a bunch of fluid under the passenger side of my car, i started up my car and got a low coolant level warning right on start up, since i was low on time i really had no chance to check everything, i did check the hoses to see if they were off but i found nothing, and by the time i got off of work it was way too dark to look into my engine bay, i happened to have dexcool in my trunk so i filled the radiator until it couldnt take any more and i drove home (8mi) with no overheating. what should i check for when i have time to look at the engine?

I just changed my water pump & coolant elbow's. Both were leaking.

*edit* 2:28pm PST

Found the leak on my way to work, radiator hose has a small tear that was shooting coolant on my battery, luckily there's an AutoZone on my way to work, easy fix I can replace a hose and some clamps hahaha, thanks for the input though guys!!

Oooo I'm going to pass on trying to give you answers on the 3400. I'll leave it up to the big boys. Sorry , good luck with it.
