Anyone ver had a stuck radiator cap. Got it off clean it off and put it back on. Got some of the flushing stuff n distilled water in the radiator now. And now the cap won't budge. Even after 2 hours and my palm hurts now. Please help!!!

I always have to use large pliers to get the cap off on my 09. Don't break anything!

I know this is very old but it's bad advice.

Using large pliers may permanently damage your radiator requiring replacement..


Press down and turn is the correct way to remove the cap.
