iam trying to install so badly need new headlight and i saw these http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-2.....4_10281333 when i bought them they said installation was very easy and sent me to a video on the basic's of how to do it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3e6bOoXGWi4 .... after doing basicly what they said and i have alot more wires on my connector than they do on this car in this video (which is not an impala i know) but after i tested each connections on my volt meter most of the wires had power going thru them even with the head lights off... so i connected it two one of them which was an orange wire for me and i couldnt get the halo's and LED to shut off at all....so then i tested the connector some more and found a yellow wire that had no power goign thru it when the lights were off but had power when lights were on... now when i hook it up the halos dont come on unless the lights are on and for some reason when i use the turn signal it does not flash at all.... im at a lost here and cant seem to find if any else knows or has had the same problem as me.... the color wires on my harness are i have two blue, two oranges, one pink, one yellow, and one black.... thanks again in advanced

A lot of these headlights (including mine) come with the turn signal power and ground wires reversed.

Cut the wires and switch them (the turn signal ones) that should fix your problem

There are screws on the back of the headlight to adjust the beam (pull the black rubber dust cap off and you'll see them)

My LED's don't flash with the turn signal. That particular brand may have wired it so they do that on purpose. You can either check out the wiring and rewire it so it doesn't do that, or you can just leave it. (The only thing that might happen is that the LED's burn out faster, but you can always replace them if they do)

No problem. I'd also recommend HIDs in the lights and fogs to make up for the less light output

Didn't realize you had the base bumper with no fogs haha sorry

Ballasts and HIDs are very easy to hook up as well.

Looks good, my only suggestion would be to tuck in the rubber trim around the headlight so it isn't sticking out lol

I read on the instruction sheet that HID where not recommended.
I have 55W 8000K in my Monte and love it.
Should I get 35W 6000K or 55W 10000K (DDMtuning.com)?

I'd go 35w 6k.

I'm running 35w 4200 and they are perfect. I like the 6k as well, but with these headlights I'd stick to 35W

Awesome that is what I needed to know. The guy that fixed my computer wants it a little bluer Considering 6k or 8k but that is up to him.

One last thing, Nothing extra is needed because it is 35W?
I have heard some people comment about DTR lights not working correctly.

Just make sure the HID kit you get has the wiring harness, or buy one separately. You can fry the stock wiring, so its best to just run the wiring harness

This is the kit I am running:
