Earlier this week I started my car in the morning and immediately noticed that a section of my factory installed stereo was no longer lit up. It would appear that a light has burnt out. It only effects buttons 3 & 4 and a few others such as buttons 5 & 6 and the Audio dial appear to be dimmer.

Is this worth fixing and how much work is involved in getting the light working again?

Thanks

Thanks. It's not worth the hassle I don't think.

But maybe someone can tell me, if I buy a new stereo (non-GM) from a place like Best Buy, how would I go about resetting thing like the Tire Monitor or Oil Life? I normally do that through the original stereo.

If I can find my manual maybe it will tell me but thought it couldn't hurt to ask here.

Thanks

Someone will clarfiy but one of them is reset by pulling the headlight knob out 3 times in 5 seconds, and the other is the same with the break light.

I would just put in a new radio if it were me
