I no longer own the impala but my sister does. I have had it rebuilt multiple times when it was mine and the last rebuild it was replaced with a GM Certa transmission. Well the other day it started performing badly... The codes that came up were P0742 and P1811...The question that i have is what are the possible fixes for this issue? Would some seafoam transmission help the issue any? I dont want to have her spend the money for a rebuild on this thing like i did. Worse comes to worse im going to bring the car to a GM dealership and leave it with a note saying you can have this car back.

Truly the best fix is a TEP trans. I think if its a certa trans they should make good on the warranty.
