It's been a while since iv'e been here but, I need help and this is the best place. Recently had a shimmy coming from the front. Replaced everything up front I.e. axles (twice), hubs, all motor mounts, tranny mount, ball joints, sb bushings. Ok u get right everything. Now after doing this, still shimmies, but now feels more of a wobble. Had new set of axles again. Same thing. I believe it seems like its the tranny, just the pass side. It seems to have a lot of play. My ? Is is there a stronger or better tranny I can put in. I have the 3.4 in it. Also have hydraulics. Well I did their out for now. Thanks in advance

Without doing a trans swap to another platform, Triple Edge Performance is your best bet

Does it move alot when you brake, during take offs or at high speeds?

It doesn't move a lot but it did. That's why I. Put all new gear in front. I'm not into speed like everybody on here so I really never mash the throttle. But if there is a stronger tranny I can get or beef up the one I have. I think with the up and travel it damaged the race or cracked it maybe don't really know till I take it out

I know its not any of that. Had the front alignment done after new parts. She drives straight as an arrow. Now, when I take off the tranny does hesitate then it seems like it pops into gear. After take off I can feel a wobble like something is out of round. I know I need a tranny. I just want one if possible that's stronger and more rigid. Don't know if there's one out there that I can swap with mine or just get it rebuild.

Get a TEP trans. You will never have another problem with the transmission.

His basic rebuilds are 1600 or 1700 and WAY better than OEM and every other rebuild job. Or you can have him swap in even stronger parts, but if you're car isn't modded, it isn't needed.

If the vibration is worse under acceleration then it is most likely the half shaft. From the wording of the post it looks like a shop checked all this stuff out. Shops are human and can make mistakes, or could have installed a defective part. Seen it many times. If it were me I would run my hand over all the tires and see if anything feels out of the ordinary. Also, does it get worse when turning one direction or the other?
