The no start condition has happened now 2 times in the past 3 months. Turn the key and all I can hear are the relays in the fuse panel clicking when I turn the key (they only click once). Does the start circuit go from the ignition switch to the crank relay, then to the starter soleniod? I ended up switching a couple relays around today, the crank relay and the one on the side of the dash. After 4 more tries with the key...it started. Did the same thing as last time. Of course everytime I get down there to see if I have power at the soleniod...it starts.

The igntion switch sends a start request to the PCM, which then checks the BCM to confirm the right ignition lock is being used, and then it commands the starter relay and starter.

Sounds like you are having a Passlock issue. Does the SECURITY light ever come on when driving or flashes when trying to start?

I will check when next time it does it. I do know the fuel pump turns on everytime, I thought that would rule out the bcm.
