So I was driving around the other day an I made a right turn into a parking lot. Soon enough my car kicked back really hard when I went to press on the gas again. Pulled over right away and saw no leaks no check engine light. Turned it on again and drove down the street and realized that 2nd gear was stuck. I'm no to sure if its a sensor or my tranny is completely *****. Haven't gotten a chance to have it looked at since I work all the time. Anybody else experience the same thing and what did you en up doing. By the way the tranny is brand new only has 10,000 miles, car itself has 140,000

Got a code reader? Maybe there is a trans code in the PCM. Also wanted to add that it doesn't matter that the trans was rebuilt. I had mine rebuilt and it was toast in about 7k miles. Several other members have had similar experiences.

First rebuild as due to the factory pressure control solenoid failing and problems with the valve body. Second rebuild was due to a shoddy rebuild and I sold the car after it was 'fixed'.
