Ok, basically I am trying to remove my injectors to clean them. I don't want to take the fuel rail off. The connections are perplexing to me. I've tried every which way to disconnect them with no avail. Anybody have a tip?

You will have to remove the fuel rail to remove the injectors.

There is a blue or purple tab on the clip that you need to pull up and out, and then I believe they should just pull off.

Agreed. Also keep in mind it might take a bit more muscle than you would anticipate to liberate the injectors from the engine.

No real need to remove the injectors from the rail if it's not leaking, for the next guy who can't get them off. All you want to clean is the atomizer side.

O-rings are cheap. AC Delco at AAP $14
