OK this isn't really anything, but kind of funny and I thought I'd share.
MIL's 08 Spectra has a few extra scuffs and scratches I noticed today and I just kind of mentioned it, knowing FIL is pretty much blind but won't go to an eye doctor so he has no glasses.
But she said the biggest one was from a shopping cart that rolled into it, she saw it happen. And she said the paintwork was faulty(it had some body repair done a few months ago) because how could a little old cart cause that paint to peel off?
Well the paint wasn't peeled off at all, you just don't know what you're talking about old lady. What the hell do you know about paint old lady? The clear is scuffed. She figures a shopping cart is too insignificant an object. The plastic corners are what hit the car.
Lady those things are hard and that have alot of burs on them. The paint is done fine and this can easily rub out.
Here's the funny part:
"With what?" with a tone that says "what product could there possibly be that is made to polish cars? That's impossible!"
I'm like, are you kidding me? as I ROFL pissing myself. It's like half of Canadian Tire!

Meh they don't take care of their cars, I think I'll wax it for them. They have never had a car waxed ever, and they've been on earth for like 70+ years LOL. Maybe that's even funnier than the story.

Too funny, Brad. Dang, I miss Canadian Tire. Went there alot when I lived in the U.P. of Michigan and Sault Ste. Marie was a 50 minute drive from the crib. Also pre-9/11 so border crossings were easy! Peace, John
