I have a 2500HD Sierra with a 6" lift and and 35x12.50x20 tires...! Well enough with details im having a "Service Brake Booster" light come on steadily now despite truck braking perfect. I bought truck with what i believe has an aftermarker brake booster (gas solenoid) looking thing instead of original brake booster. not sure how to get rid of "service brake booster" message off cluster! any clues?

If it's a Bosch braking system, those are continuously monitored for vacuum leak. I'm sure they're not alone. Dealer should be able to take care of you easy.

Vacuum leak is what came up on OBD2 scan. but doesnt necessarly mean there is one. its an aftermarket booster but not sure what kind. ill take it to dealer and see what they say. -_-
