I have a fuel pump that I got off a running 2003 impala (electrical issues). Problem....maybe.........I got it at the beginning of last year, April?. Can i use it? or is it bad?. My fuel level sensor went out. Already went by km's for to long lol.

Thanks!

You could swap out the level sensor which is on the side of the fuel pump off of the 03 to yours if you are worried about the pump being bad.

Ya i was thinking that but i did that already before and it went bad again. I was hoping that i could just swap it out and be done with it the pump is only 3 years old with maybe 20,000 on it. Its used so i was wondering if because its been submerged already leaving it not might seize things up.

You can always try it, these are pretty simple to swap out.
