Im looking into getting some tint this year after i save up a bit, i happened to be passing one shop one the way home from school and they had Johnson....but the guy was trying to get me to buy Viper, after doing a quick search on my phone a lot of people are assuming that Viper is just re-boxing, i know tint is pretty subjective but i want to know the forums experience with whatever brand you all bought

Llumar on my 300, almost 3 years and it looks like the day it was installed. Car is parked outside 24 / 7 / 365. (35% all around, 5% on the sunroof, nothing on windshield)

When I tint the Monte, it will be getting Llumar tint (10% all around, 85% on windshield (mostly for UV protection))

I have been using Llumar for years on many cars. I've always liked it, so I never tried anything else. GARY

IMO it's more important to find a reputable shop that will stand by their work if it fades or bubbles.

agreed, I use a shop that ONLY does tinting and rated as one of the best on Long Island by nearly every car / truck forum. Real world reviews from real people.

Was it more money? Absolutely, but well worth it for a quality job.

3m and weathertech are good. It really does depend on the shop too. Make sure they throw in a warranty.
