So like the title says my 04 is now idling rough after replacing the head gaskets, I've been on vacation for a little while so now that im back im trying to get to the bottom of this...Before the issue was that i could hear gurgling inside the dash and could not bleed the air out of the cooling system but other than that it ran fine and idled fine and never over heated.

now after replacing head gaskets i no longer have an unbleedable coolant system.. I know my maf was going out so i tried unpluging it, and it runs better but at higher idle...I now replaced the maf and changed the plugs with OEM ac delco 41-101 because i thought it was missing because of the coolant seeping into the combustion chamber ruining the old plugs but still no change...

right now i have no codes after plugs and new maf but since changing the head gaskets i had a p0102 (driving with maf unpluged) p 0171 and a p0300 if that helps with any diagnostics

also here is a vid, it runs rougher in drive and shakes the whole car, when i accelerate tho it drives fine its just while idling

It could be something simple like a plug wire. Those are easy to check. Get a spray bottle, turn car on @ night. Start misting, look for the lightning show. Just a guess. How is the car on power?

seems normal not so much lower that i would suspect the cat... i have been driving it without the maf plugged in so right now its guzzling gas.. It was running fine before when it had coolant seeping into the number 1 cylinder, no idle issues or overheating just couldnt bleed the air out of the coolant
