Going to replace the stock double walled pipe and Flex, with a 2.5 inch Flex, and 2.5 inch pipe back. My question is does upgrading the downpipe make a difference? Will I notice a performance change, or a sound change? I already have u bend delete and 2.5 all the way back. Thanks! P.S. That's right, putting more makeup on the pig!!

not sure how much the DP itself will increase performance, most people replace it to get rid of the U-Bend. Im sure it will help since you are going to 2.5" pipe instead of the factory (prob 2.25") just dont know how much

I'm hoping for a sound change more than anything.

You are going to need some new mufflers to get anything other than a miniscule change in exhaust note.

I know. lol I have magnaflow mufflers and a small glass pack about halfway back to cut down on the snorting. The squeal is not bad though. But not much sound change after the DP but oddly enough it seems to start better lol. Looks a heck of alot better too. But the pig is still a pig.. I think to see the sound I want I need to pick a better platform lol. Thanks for the input though guys!!!
