2000 Impala 3.8......I have just started to hear a roaring, kind of a jet engine type noise coming from my rt front tire I think. The sound increases as my speed increases, when I turn rt it becomes louder. When I turn left the noise decreases. It is also is loud just going forward, but mainly when turning my wheel to the right. I have no idea what this is??? The car seems to run fine, but the noise is just unbearable. Any ideas on this?? Maybe a wheel hub replacement type deal??
Most likely thats the problem. Get your BFH and start wacking! lol...
Seriously though, do yourself a favor and do it yourself if you have the tools. It is easy and just requires alot of elbow grease and muscles. Oh, and do all 4 because the other ones will fail eventually. Also, Timken and timken only! Anything else in my book will fail just like everything else made in china.
