My car came w/ out a cd player, so I bought a stock radio and it had to be unlocked using a tech 2, so I bit the bullet an went to a dealer... a few months later, the cd player wouldn't work anymore

A few years an a week down the line, I purchased another stock cd player (seller claims it works) my question is: can I take the cd player out of the "new" unit an install it into my unit w/ out having the radio lock up on me?

I'm gonna install an ipod cable while I have it apart
