i think the smooth bumper kind of clashes with the molding on the rest of the body. I think the color is interesting...I kinda like it. I would say if you arent going to have the emblem back there then fill in the space and smooth it to match. it looks like yours fell off the way it is. other than that it looks good.

Same comment about the taillight covers. I'm not big on rims, but like everything else, it's personal opinion.

Have you thought about a third taillight cover?

LOL.. well , right now, the car is completly badgeless!!

i intended on puting the emblem back on the tailights, in the center only, and leaving the impala off, the upper trunk part!!!

but when i got it out of paint shop...i kinda like the look of no badges anywhere, and plus people always ask me what kind of car it is, because it is badgeless i guess.and some dont know i guess!!!

so the guy who painted my car,, is kind of pissed ..because he said the same thing.. he said , well if i new u was going to leave the symbols off, he would have smoothed the tailight cover out in the center, where the outline of the emblem is.

so im still debating. on emblems....

u guys care quick to judge a unfinished project i see!!!

the tailights, are exactly how i visioned, and wanted..so nothing will change..

couple more exterior mods i have to upgrade...
1 is SS wing... still have to get that put on
also, im gettin another set of halo's.. if u guys noticed..about a year ago, i posted pics..i had the 1st gen. halo lights. with the 3 led verticle lights..
right now i have original , new light set..with the black housing..
the halos with the chrome background. really set the front off better i think!!

but as far as the emblems..ya im still debating...so slow ur roll guys!!

but apriciate your opinions!

Seems like you're looking for praise more than opinions, but here's mine:

I love the paint! Alot! The dual exhaust looks great as well. I don't care for the wheels, headlights, grille, or the front bumper. Not that they look bad, its just not my style.

You say it's unfinished, I'm hoping that you do have some sort of plans for the recess where the badge used to be.

Otherwise, very clean Impala.

Don't get down if people don't like exactly what you've done. You like it, and it is unique. They're just voicing their opinions.

Good to see someone doing something with their 7th gen.

front bumper doesnt look as bad as if it had black moldings.

I never liked the billet grille for these cars, no matter who had it or what their style was.

I'd add the emblem to the back if it isnt gonna be filled. Maybe custom paint the background of it to match the car. Will flow better with the rest of the car.

not a fan of large, chrome or full face wheels, so you hit all three Laughing

Clean car, I think any comments I had have already been said once or twice anyways. But still a very clean Impala. Cool

you said quick to judge, but you asked for opinions in your title.

thanks for all the comments.. i take everything into consideration!!

reason i come to this site, is to get opinions from everybody, specially those who own, or have owned, this body style Impala!!

another reason i posted these pics in particular, this is the last time this car will ever look like this again!!

the wheels are to small for me, so im going bigger,, im going for the slammed look, also a different color, wont reveal that yet..

and also, im going to keep the chrome billet grill, no matter what, i like the look of it, plus i dont like the stock grill, with the bowtie in the middle!
so grill stays!!
im going with the 3rd gen headlights, ccfl. im going to paint the headlight housing the same color as the car ( new color i choose that is ) and adding a few extra led's in the lights..hard to describe. but u willl see when finished.

also, im going with a different exhaust, right now i have flow master 3 inch , with 4 inch tips.. im going 4 inch pipe front to back, Borla!!

adding ss wing.. but ass end will stay the same.. i will either add the deer emblem in center, or smooth it out 4 sure..

4" pipe front to back? Running a 1200hp big block in that thing?

2.5" front to back is MORE than adequate. 3" only if heavily modded with either turbo or supercharger (in fact I think 3" would be too big for turbo, not enough back pressure for it to work efficiently)

Yeah, 4" is an insane amount of overkill. You running something under the hood we don't know about? Like a Cummins Diesel? Laughing

Factory exhaust on our motors is what, 2.25"?
