Was on my way to a Yankee game a few weeks back and was rear ended on the Cross Bronx Expressway. A box truck hit us slowly... This truck hit the rear bumper and their was a mess to my car. Car is in the shop and all though it didn't look that bad there wa still @2500 bucks in damage!
On a good note my rental is a white jaguar XF.

How is the rental a Jag XF when the damaged car is an Impala?

I get the feeling this is more like a personal loan or you just paid above what the insurance company was willing to for a rental.

Also, pics please!

Perhaps they had nothing else left. Last time I had a rental car, I had reserved a standard midsize and all they had left was a "luxury" MKT. It took a bit of talking, but I was able to get the MKT for the same price as what I had booked...

The Impala is better than everything in the eyes of some members. You can't say anything negative about it here... Rolling Eyes

Every car forum has one.

Anyway what kind of engine does have? Did get a V6 or the V8??? These are pretty nice cars. It's interesting they let you get a hold of one. Cool This is a Ford I certainly go for. Razz

Insurance company covered for 35 bucks a day. They were going to give me a Chevy HHR and I said give me the the Jag for 10 bucks a day more. The rep at Enterprise said "Icant do that!" I said what can we do?? He said maybe 15 bucks and I came back with 12 and he went for 13 bucks extra a day. I drive a lot and had the car for 8 days and put @ 900 miles on the Jag. XF is a real nice car. My friend has a black one. Well balanced V8 rear wheel drive. I ran it up to @ 130 and it was very stable with a lot more left in it. On the highway it was averaging @ 24 mpg's too!!! Interior is beautiful with A/C vents that open and close upon starting and shutting off the car. The trans selector on the console does the same. with a dial in place of a shft. They sell for @ 55-65k when new but depreciate like a rock after a year or two. I would love to buy one but the maintence on them after warranty will kill you.
My SS is back now and reality has set in. I must say my SS has 130k miles on it and still runs and feels pretty damn strong!!!!
