so I ripped apart my engine yesterday, and spent today cleaning everything. my upper intake manifold will not separate from the throttle body after I took off all the nuts. I think it's just so much crap that's built yup over the years. also I noticed its corroding pretty badly by the egr tube. guess its time for a new one. is there a manifold they make that's not plastic? or a performance manifold?

The Series 3 UIM is aluminum. I believe to run it you just need to adapter your TB to it.
