As most of you know, I've demodded my Monte Carlo and would like to sell it. I've been driving it around the last few days to make sure everything is kosher and sure enough, something else decided to break on the way to work this morning.

Notice something missing? Said stud was torqued to spec on Saturday and is now lying on the road somewhere...

Looks like I'll be picking up a mount and throwing it on after work one night this week.

Bolts are overrated! That's called weight reduction.

I'm taking it to Carmax to see what they will give me (I know it's not much, but I have a number in my mind and if they come close I'll dump it there). If not, I'll try and sell it on Craiglist. Either way, I'm not comfortable selling something when I know its has mechanical defect that could result in death or dismemberment...

Excluding the time spent acquiring a decent set of spring compressors from Autozone, I was able to knock out a strut mount replacement in a little over an hour. I guess I'm getting pretty good at fixing these rolling piles of s**t. Laughing

The code is for a malfunctioning oxygen sensor. That could possibly explain the s**t 13 MPG city mileage I've been getting. Laughing

Just got off the phone with the junkyard. They will be sending out a wrecker Monday morning to haul away the Intrigue and they will give me 275 dollars cash. Laughing
