My Traction control was indicating that it was off and the ABS light was also on as well as the Service traction control msg would display.

I took the passenger side wheel off today and found a broken wire at the female side of the harness near the hub. It was broken so close to the harness it could not be reconnected. I removed the Female side of the harness from the car (the end closest to the hub) and removed the connectors from inside the harness. I soldered a new piece of wire to each connection and jammed them back into the harness and soldered the new wires back onto the wires hanging out of the hub.

Lights are off all is well on that side for now. Took about an hour and no cost.

I've been having the same problem with the abs/traction lights for a while. Since last time i had wheel work done, actually.. I'll have to try what you did, see if the garage busted a wire or something

If you have any more questions on what I did let me know.

The connectors inside the harness on the hub side are removed buy removing the rubber caulking on the wire side and pulling/pushing the connector pins back towards the wires.
