Noticed bird poop on the rear bumper cover, no biggie, hosed it off. Later the same day, same thing, more poop and more hose. Third time same so I wash it off and watch. A robin lands on the rear bumper cover flapping like crazy, I spray the hose at him. Bird comes back, now I feel like a mental patient guarding my car against an evil bird with a garden hose, wtf!
Apparently nesting robins are territorial and this brave bird was defending his nest against his own reflection in my chrome strip. Put some paste wax on said chrome strip and no more over protective robin. Bird still guards nest but doesnít $hit on my car.
Some daze Impín ainít easy.

Its a bird doing what nature programmed into it's head. Leave the thing alone.

Load up one of these with bird-shot for a week... of course then you'll have to clean up all of the carcasses . . .

Yeah, and I'm doing what nature programmed me to do. Hunt for food.

HmmmÖ.SS
Anyway, one can only derive limited pleasure from outsmarting a bird, however he is on notice that a direct action mission is always on the table.

That's hilarious. This explains why every year a robin or cardinal will spend weeks during the summer flying into windows at home.
