is there any reason to request custom settings when getting an alignment on a lowered car? I have the ssc springs.

What do you mean by custom settings? An alignment should be within the same specs no matter what the suspension is. I have the SSC's as well. Speaking of that, I need to get camber adjustment bolts for the rears. It's a little outta spec on the rear and that's not adjustable stock

Some people will request a little extra negative camber compared to the 'stock' alignment settings, but this can compromise tire life. I prefer to stick with the standard settings.
