I went in to get an alignment check and these are results they showed me. From the past i remember the camber wasnt adjustable i beleive a part was needed ? If so is an adjustment on camber really needed ? If so is this the right part
Also i dont get how front wheels are tilted in i had tie rods replaced and alignment done on front in December.
Been driving on 2 new tires like this for 2 weeks so worried if i should not wait any longer.
There is a little play if you undo the strut bolts, you want the top to go in and retighten. There is not much adjustment with that, you may have to tap the bolts out a bit to get it to move. There is an aftermarket camber bolt that has a cam to help adjust stuff like that. However, it has been my experience that if the front is off significantly most likely there is a bent strut or control arm.
With results like that just get it aligned... you never know if its correct by doing it yourself b/c then you gotta go back and get it checked again and over and over again.. every little adjustment is critical. Just go get it aligned. If your worried about price, Firestone offers a lifetime alignment for less than the price of two.
2002 Impala- SSC, AGX, 18" charger R/t rims w/8mm spacers, Magnaflow cat, U-bend delete, flowmaster 80 series crossflow, z28 tips, HAI, debadged, 35% tint, smoked headlights, full sound system
got lifetime alignment @ firestone and surprisingly everything is within specs now including camber! was considering getting ssc springs to lower but i heard i would also need cam bolts if so any links to get both of these ?
