Is goof off safe to use on the car? The reason I ask is because I used the forever black for the trim. (idk if it's just me, but mine looks like crap and it's all streaky) but the notes I was reading about said the dye didn't stick to anything but plastic, well I should of known that was a lie cause it's DYE! anyways as you can guess i went on just putting it around the whole car then when I went to wipe it off.. didn't come off, I used some rubbing compound but that literally took forever and was alot of work. So when I went out today to clear up my tail lights from still having the adhesive on them from painting them, I decided to try an area. worked like that and it was gone. so is it safe to use in small areas around the trim? ( I'll prob spray the trim this summer, cause this forever black is causing more headaches then good..)

thanks

I have used it to get adhesive left over from removing my Monte Carlo badges.

Just make sure right after you use it, you clean the car and get a good wax in the area.

Like Chibi implied, it knocks the wax off the car, but otherwise it's fine.

Give it a good rinse and wash just to be sure it's all gone, same as you would do for any other strong cleaning product (rim cleaners, etc)
