Changed the air filter (cone filter) ,was cleaning the car yesterday and I guess I left the door(s) and trunk open too long and she wouldn't start. Was getting lights, horn, gauges came up and it would not jump During the jump the voltmeter only got up about 9+ volts. Straight off the battery I read 12.6V This morning it does almost nothing but check engine light and some gauge/needle clicking and what seems to be some relay activity under the hood. The battery is almost 4 yrs old...still reading about 12.6V,however.

The battery might not have the amps to crank. Sounds like the connections are dirty and you didn't have a good ground when it was jumped. The battery could be toast but it sounds like it is just ran down. Make sure you have a good ground on the engine block when you jump it. Meaing put the negetive jumper cable that goes to your car on the block instead of the negetive on the battery.
