My tranny has been slipping a lot lately, and yesterday driving home, it was stuck in 3rd the entire drive home. Its got 119k miles time for a new one, i found a company called Power Source out in Tennesee who sells a jasper tranny for 1699 with a 500 dollar core deposit free shipping no sales tax. what a great deal! any one else have any experience with jasper trannys?

TEP makes great transmissions

my brother has a Jasper tranny in his truck, it blew up about 3 months after getting it. They covered a replacement.

I would look into TEP for a tranny. Jasper just rebuilds to OEM spec, TEP goes far beyond and builds them to last and out perform OEM.

TEPs price was way too much though, i found that jasper actually made 15 upgrades to their trannys. if you call them they'll tell you in detail what they did. its almost as if they made the 4t65e HD tranny....minus a couple minor pinches

$150 more than the TEP standard rebuilt trans.... Rolling Eyes

And just an FYI, the HD trans and the regular trans are exactly the same aside from the differential and the torque converter...

TEP - $1549 + $300 core

Jasper - $1699 + $500 core

Not sure what TEP charges for shipping, but TEP specializes in the 4T65E where Jasper does everything and specializes in nothing
