Was bumping some beats pretty good, Then all of a sudden I couldn't hear my sub, so when I got to where I was headed I pulled over and looked in the trunk, the amp was currently not on, so I checked connections, wiggled around the wires and ground, would not turn on, popped the hood to look at the inline fuse, but I can't tell if that's blown or not, (don't know if it's suppose to look discolored or not).
Also, Isn't that the purpose of an inline fuse, so you don't blow your amp.?

well if the fuse is blown, then the power wire isn't supplying power to the amp, so the amp wouldn't be on.

Pull the fuse out and see if it's blown is the first step

Yeah I did some troubleshooting online, makes sense to me, Its pouring like crazy so im going to try in an hr or so and take a look. If it is blown, what would be the cause of that? My amp settings too high?

**** Took the fuse out looked normal, I was able to pull off one of the copper ends and it looked a little melted. Don't know if thats how they get the product to stay tight, but when I tried to pull the other end, I wasn't able to and the fuse broke. I'm picking up a pack in the AM. Hopefully that will fix it.***

*** Replaced the fuse, all good***
