I am thinking about getting a vanity license plate. I have a white ltz, with a completely debadged trunk. Im thinking about these few options:

IMPA11A
WHT IMP
UNDERCV (I don't think cops would like this one).

Let me know what you think is best, or if you have another one in mind.

Thanks.

you can also go to the secretary of state website and find the link "plate it your way" and see if the vanity plate you want is even available. if you're debadged on the back, how about NKDBUTT, LOL WANABCP, perhaps? FAKECOP? IMPOSTR? i can do this all day. have fun with it here and on the SOS site. peace, john p.s.... where are you located?

I personally wouldn't put ANYTHING with "COP" in it for a plate. IDK how the cops are in MI, but a couple states over to the west wouldn't like plates like that. Maybe jgilius was just being sarcastic though...

I'm located in Wyoming. Just south of Grand Rapids.

Idk about the cop thing either. I don't want the extra attention; especially if I plan on getting tint.

A few others I came up with were:
3900LGD
3900IMP

hey redline, yeah, most of mine were tongue in cheek. i'd readily agree that either the constables or the SOS would nix most any combos having to do with police activity. kkilburn, i was born and raised in GR, and work up in comstock park just up west river drive from fifth third ballpark. did you pick up your imp from a local dealer? did you happen to check out the SOS website yet? peace. john

I know right where that's at. No, I got my impala from Flint. Yeah I checked out the SOS website; the ones I posted were able to be used, so I may choose one of those.

I figured that was prolly the case, John. Especially being on this site, but I wanted to comment just in case the new guy (kkilburn) thought 'hey those are good ones' Laughing

I kind of wanted a vanity plate when I got my Impala, but couldn't think of anything really. It isn't a 'special' enough car I guess. I mean I could have did something like "3800 LS" or "IMPLALS" or something, but nothing I came up with warranted the $110 charge for it here. If it were an SS / LS Sport I would do one or if the car was worked over and somewhat nasty I'd come up with something, but since it's neither... meh. I'm not the type to do my name and put a 1 after it or anything. Those always seem like a uncreative waste of money to me (no offense to anyone here with one like that Laughing )

I just got that 'NO TAGS' one. At first glance I thought "why would he run with no tags at all?" Laughing
