I'm not sure if this is a odd question or not but is there any way to set up my factory installed fog lights to come on automatically with the head lights without having to push the fog light switch every time? I had a older model Pontiac that would allow the fog lights to come on automatically with the headlights and would like the same with my Impala.

I would do is turn the ignition to "ON" and see what wire is giving power to my daytime running lights. Then I would simply wire it in. Or, Canadian Tire sells daytime running light moduels that you could wire into the fogs but its not much different than running them to the current daytimes.

they are controlled by the BCM.

Unless you want to rewire them (eliminating all of the factory wiring to them) then the answer is no.

You can install new pigtails at the lamps and wire them with a relay by picking up the headlight power as a signal, but that would make the switch on the dash 100% inoperative and you can never independently turn them off. (unless you wire them to a switch on the dash)

Would there be a way to set it up how BBE did the connector where you can have Traction Control turned off whenever you start the car? Could something like that be done for the Fog Light switch?

EDIT: I was mistaken, it is from ZZP "Auto Off TCS-Module"

I used a surv mode switch from a 9c1 impala and wired it up getting its power source from the parking light wire at the headlight switch. I wired this into the factory fog light relay, bypassing the BCM. Now, when the parking lights are on and the switch is clicked in, the fog lights are on. I can draw up a wiring diagram if you're interested.
