Anyone here getting one? If so, what games are you planning on getting?

Eventually I will probably get one. Since I have every other damn system.

I think I'll wait for the spring, let the Vita sit out for a little while and gather better reviews on games and such.

Never heard of it. I'm going to stick with the 360, since I have lots of Forza left to do, there's a new GTA coming this fall, and I haven't picked up Skyrim yet.

Edit: no chance I would buy a handheld. Confused

Bah! I love my PSP. The Vita is a damn slick piece of hardware. I was frothing when I got to play with it in December. My wife actually played with it for a while at CES too.

If you don't mind being forced into purchasing proprietary memory cards (which last I saw is pretty much required to use the damn thing after you shell out 250 bucks) at ridiculously high prices. No thanks.

My PS3 is enough for my video game fix until the next generation of consoles come out. I barely play PS3 as it is.

I'm waiting for it to be cracked... else I don't think I'll buy. At its size I'd rather grab a nice tablet. Console gaming sucks, anywho. Laughing

Yeah...I mean only Sony does that right? It's not like a 250GB Xbox drive costs $170!!! Laughing

I agree that the cards are overpriced. I think Sony has to put some retarded piece of proprietary something in every generation of their consoles. But they aren't the only one to do it. Ever wonder why Xbox is the only one making wireless controllers for the 360? Proprietary tech. Same with the chat. Want to make a game on the 3DS and put it on a card not made by Nintendo? Good luck.

$99 for a 32GB memory card for the Vita is redonkulous. However, look at the tech that's built in and the games it's playing, pretty damned slick. And I figure the 4GB will do me just fine. Most reviewed games I play are usually deleted right after anyway.

When you buy an Xbox, you don't have to buy an additional controller to play it, nor are you required to buy a hard drive to use it. Every console Microsoft sells is fully functional out of the box, save for a game. However, since you expect to purchase a game to use a console, your point regarding the card the game is on is immaterial as you need to buy a game to play any video game system.

My hang up is the fact that you buy a 250 dollar item and need to spend more money to make it fully functional. That my friend, is a hidden cost and makes the entry price point deceptively low.

Part of me would be interested, but I have a PSP I never use. I still have a stack of unplayed PS3 games still for lack of time. Confused

For that price, i would rather get something nice for my car. I'd lose it or break it.
