Is this something I can replace?

The paint is coming off of them after 8 years and I'd like to pop them off and put new ones on if possible.

d3adpool has two sets of audio control buttons for sale...I shot him an offer on both...but,If he's for it,I'll take/settle for the better set and maybe we'll both be happy...as long as I don't get outbid for either one of 'em. Rolling Eyes

Looks like they would just pop off with a screw driver and the new ones plug into place?

How about the cruise control settings?

I guess no one sells new ones, would need to find a junkyard?

No, I guess not.

Pop out with a screwdriver? I believe it was hotsauce(?) that had to remove his airbag to replace them.

You can get a screw driver in there and wiggle them out, I have done it numerous times...it can be a PITA, but it's easier then taking off the steering wheel and worrying about the air bag.

to further elaborate on this matter, if you have beat up cruise buttons, u can just pop off the covers on these with a screwdriver and they just snap back on. I did this a few days ago for my wife's car. If you have a button that isn't working for whatever reason then you'll have to take the airbag off/move it to the side or try and pry out the buttons. Moving the airbag out the way isn't as bad and time consuming as it sounds, only takes me about 2 mins to do just unhook the battery if you're paranoid.

so taking the cruise control button off just to replace the plastic part only there is no need to remove the airbag?
