So I decided to put the stock bar on my grill and paint it. I'm still undecided on the bowtie, Whether to leave it blue or buy another black decal. Was a simple mod took me all of 2hrs. 3 coats of spray. Bought the Duplicolor OEM black from Autozone. 6.99$ and sanded the chrome with 400grit wet/dry, which I also used with my tailights, which should be ready for me on Monday SmileSmileSmileSmile

Sanded Down. Masked bowtie with Painters tape and razor blade the edges.

Spray Booth, Thanks Ikea! (wouldn't recommend doing inside, Still trying to get
the smell out)

Duplicolor OEM Flat black/Trim Spray Paint.

After 3 Coats and dried for about 1hr.

Final Product. Pics kinda suck cos It's from my Evo phone, Use to take better
pics, maybe a lighting issue..

Seconded on both counts. Laughing The fumes from rattle can paint is nasty when I use the stuff in my garage, I can't imagine doing it in the house.

Your grille looks good! I used this paint on my trim and it's held up very well in the month or so I've had it on. Do be surprised if your snot turns black for a few days. Laughing Razz

Are you sure? They don't sell my color in stores but you can find it on the net.
