so i'm pulling out the 305 from my 78 camaro and dropping in a 350 in next couple of weeks, looking at prices on the hoist, they go for 300 plus for something i'm going to use once, anyone out there have one tucked away in their garage i can borrow?
thanks all

fresh built 355

If no one replies, have you considered renting one?

Have you tried Harbor Freight? I bought an engine hoist there for under $100. Sounds cheap, but its good quality. Not professional, but works for a weekend warrior.

everything in it is stock down to the cam, crankshaft just its bored over 0.030, with slightly bigger pistons, basically makes it a 355

yup, should be a nice reliable ride. Just dont over carb it!!! I see a lot of people slap a 750cfm carb on a stock 350 not realizing they are loosing a ton of HP
