The battery on the car went dead the other day and i had to jump start it to get it going. Now it seems like that i lost the capability to remote start the car but i still have all the alarm features and all.. My question is would pulling the power on the brain and letting it sit for a few minuets then plugging it back in fix my problem? I can press the remote start and the lights will turn on along with the fuel pump but it just wont fire over.. Any suggestions? The system is a Viper 791XV. Thanks gentleman

Is your check engine light on? If so, the remote start will not work.

That only applies to the factory remote start in the 06+

On my wifes 07 SS she started complaining her remote start wasn't working (I ignored her kinda) then we had to replace the battery because it kept going into battery save mode. I'm sure glad the batt finally died in the garage so I didn't have to chase all over getting it home.

A new battery solved all her start problems.

Thought about disconnecting the battery and resetting the ECU... Currently i have the brain unplugged and ill plug it back in shortly and go from there... No fuses were popped they all look good...

There might be a procedure to reset the security bypass module.. I would check in the manual if you still have it.
