I need to talk to someone about my impala!! It burnt a hole in the upper inatake and i replaced that. Now have spark and gas, but it wont start???? I am stuck on this one guys

Did you reconnect all the vacuum lines?

yes all of them are connected i went over ir three or four times. It acts like it wants to start but makes almost like a backfire sound when cranking over.

Did you make sure you didn't crack the vacuum line that runs from the throttle body to the fuel pressure regulator?
