Thought I would share some photos of my car and what I have done with it so far.

Once I got away from the crappy water of Amarillo on vacation I was able to wash my car and put a little shine back in it:

Here is a photo of the aluminum trim and the leather shift knob:

I decided the faded gold bowties needed to be touched up:

Here is a picture of my parents '03 Impala with mine in the back:

This is where I relocated the Impala Letter Emblem to and plasti dipped it. Yea, I should have cleaned the car before that photo was taken:

And here is a photo of the front end with a dusting of snow and another sitting in snow:

Current mods completed are:
LT Rims
SS Front Bumper With Fogs
SS Rear Bumper With Dual Exhaust
50th Anniversary Impala Emblems
Brushed Aluminum Interior Trim
STB's Front And Rear
LT Spoiler
Leather Shift Knob
Plasti Dipped Front And Rear Bowties
Plasti Dipped And Relocated Impala Letter Emblem
On Order: 50th Anniversary Steering Wheel W/Audio Controls

I like what you've done there. Now just some wheels and it'll look great!

I think thats just snow sitting on the grille john... Laughing

IMO tilt, If your gonna keep the chrome strip you should leave the reverse lights un-tinted. Think it looks alot better (Check out Godzson's old car for example).

doh! what was i thinking? LOL keep that snow in texas, we don't need it here in michigan!! X2 on the tinting tails. the reverse lights blend in with the chrome strip perfectly, but when tinted have kind of a goofy look.

here's mine from last winter's january IOTM shoot. peace, john

Your car looks great. Trust me, I agree with not tinting the reverse, but when I got them from someone here on the forum they were already tinted. I plan on getting a set done by Flip if he still does them. The more I do with the car the more I wish I would have got an LTZ or real 50th lol. But it does give me something to do.

I like how you moved the "impala" to the chrome strip. I had that same idea with my dad's '09, still haven't gotten around to doing it. Any tips for getting them on there evenly? What did you use for adhesive?

mean mean canuck, LOL ask slim rob if those were a VHT job Snooty and i actually do have chrome tips, they slipped just over the stock tailpipes so they don't look like i've got coffee cans back there. after i replace the rotted out stock mufflers in february or march there will be some stainless steel tips out back. in case you forgot, i did end up with the IOTM for january 2011, the very last one of it's kind Twisted Evil peace, john

I ordered the IMPALA letter emblem. It has the tape on it already. I removed the top plastic sheet and plasti dipped the letters. I then put the plastic piece back on and removed the back side and I stuck it on. It was very easy and installing only took like 2 minutes.

I think it looks great, it's definetly happening to my dad's car in the spring. I agree with HeMi it would look better without the bowtie..
