Where is the switch that shuts down the interior power when you open the door ?
In older cars it's the little turkey pop up thing where the door hinges.
Where is it in our cars ? My driver door one sticks from time to time.

I believe it is part of the door hinge assembly. (at least that was the conlclusion I came to when I was trying to figure out why my radio and instrument cluster wouldn't shut down).

I always thought it was in the door latch assy.
Never had the door apart so I don't know.

The switch is part of the door latch assembly.

I had problems with the drivers back door and the Wires were not fully seated in the wire connector.
This fixed my issue , but latch replacement has been necessary for others.
