That's terrible, right here in Kitchener, too. I haven't seen that GP or Fiero around. Wonder whereabouts he is.

You replied sarcastically to a sarcastic comment...

The only way the insurance company will give him compensation for his modifications is if he notified them and had the modifications valued for consideration within his policy.

That being said, many insurance companies will not even provide a policy for cars which are modified, especially for power, and the ones that do ensure they will get their money out of you before you ever have a chance to wreck the car. This is why a lot of people don't tell their insurance company about modifications to their car.

I hate to say it, but while the guy that had his cars wrecked didn't deserve what happened, he had to have done something to set someone off enough to move cars with a forklift...

Agreed,however...

That guy who had an issue with said vehicles should have 1. talked to the owner of the shop and voiced his problem like an adult.or 2. called the Police and have them talk to the guy....

No instead he takes a forklift and moves them himself and causes much damage, handling the situation like a kid. This sounds like the kind of guy who should really THINK before he acts.

I can't think of anything he could have done to deserve that! Unless he did something that bad first, which he seems not to have.
He probably did share harsh words in response to the perp's irrational complaints, IOW he probably did make the guy angry by not submitting to his unreasonable demands. I too would have told him to F@$# off. Does not justify moving the cars with a forklift. That guy is emotionally unstable and needs to be institutionalized.

My insurance covers a lot of extras. I know with the stereo if its worth over $5,000 all I have to do is tell them the amount ahead of time. But mine would cover anything else I did to the car. But all insurance companys are different.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think that guy deserved to have his cars wrecked. I personally find it hard to believe that he is a completely innocent party...
