Well finally got to lower the imp over the weekend! Pretty happy with the results. The rear is significantly lower than I wanted but actually looks lower in the pictures than it looks in person. Very happy with the ride so far. For those that don't know, I went with KYB AGX's and SSC lowering springs. New mounts and anti-pogo washers as well. Car is pretty darn dirty but I can't resist! Got measurements for the fenders but the way its parked I think it slants towards the curb so I'll try to get some better numbers. The lower air dam is 3.75" off the ground and the subframe is 4.75" Exhaust tips are 8.75" I put a before and after for each. Enjoy!

Just wait a couple months and I'll really shock you Wink

The drop gets two toe thumbs up.

The license plate in the windshield and SS decals get two toe thumbs down. (but you already knew that).

Thanks!
License plate was just there because I drove to do the install at my friends house and I don't normally drive around there so didn't want to take the chance of the cops being more strict and getting pulled over. Oh and I got broken into a few weeks ago so the passenger side front window isn't tinted yet

The car is now level. The rear fender has a smaller gap factory. I was hoping it wouldn't lower the rear as much. But I just realized in these pics the old struts and springs as well as a well are in the back. And my sub box. So that's probably why it doesn't look too bad in person

Mine looks like that but its lowered due to all the weight in the trunk.

It's the way the rear fenders are cut on the W-body. Even if you end up with a perfectly even drop it can look like the rear end is sagging. Some of the GPs guys get so fed up with it that they mix and match springs to make the rear end sit up a little higher.

I thought someone here had mixed and matched to use 9C1 springs in the rear and (agx? ss?) springs in the front. Maybe it was just an item of discussion.

i vote a no to the SS emblems

the drop looks good though. in the rear i would put factory SS rear springs. they are tiny bit lower but are stiffer. with the weight in the trunk you may get a drop you want

We did the fronts first then drove to get lunch. To be honest, without the back lowered it didn't give it the presence it does now. Overall look it much lower with the back lowered. I have been looking at it for awhile and Im happy with it. I really would like to get them painted or find a painted set.
Oh and the rims, they were charger r/t daytona wheels. I am still awaiting new tires for them. aparently 235/45/18 is hard to get. But you should see how they look with the new suspension Twisted Evil And.....they fit lowered!!
