Chibbi, is there an offset that we should be paying attention to when buying aftermarket rims?

According to this web sites database.
http://www.myboltpattern.com/
select your make , then year , then model
Chevrolet, 2003, Impala, the site gives these results.

Bolt Pattern (in) = 5 x 4.53
Bolt Pattern(mm) = 5 x 115
Off Set range = 34 to 45
Center Bore size (mm) = 70.3
Stud_Size (mm) = 12x 1.5

Well.... you can... but it doesn't make it right and I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

You can go lower on the offset as well. Depends on the wheel width and if your lowered.

The small difference in bolt pattern of the 114.3 causes the threads in the nut to friction weld to the wheel stud when tightening the nuts on, because of the tight clearence.

Some times the nut does not torque up tight to the wheel or most often the Stud breaks off when removing the wheel next time you that them off.

I have a tire/wheel guy that swears up and down that the 114.3 is just fine to use w/no issues. I've gone round and round with 'em about it. He deals with this stuff every day. This site though has me paranoid on that 114.3 is a no no Laughing
Not an issue really though since I wanted a set of stock SS wheels & 9C1 squad wheels anyways.
