Not too hard Alan, I built a couple of enduro cars, (Lumina V6, Probe V6 and T-Bird V8) Just have to follow the rules and sign up!!!

I have a s**t eatting grin on my face every time i go out... and my car bends the rules pretty well pitch lol

oh i know. i almost did it back in 2004 after my 1993 tbird v6 was rear ended but still very drivable i read over all the rules. just was living at home (still am lol) and my parents did not want a wrecked stripped down car infront of their house. the other reason i did not, was because i did not know how to trailer a car and got into a fight with the friend who was going to do so for me. but now that i know how to tow, maybe when i get a job i will look into it again

There's no such thing as a 1987 Impala, that would be a 1987 Caprice.

they were basically the same car, Impala name plate stopped in 85 and Caprice continued on. Impala was a base model Caprice in the 80's

mine yes is a caprice but has a swapped worked 350 and turbo 350 trans so i call it an impala and yes they did make impalas in the 80s.... might have been just a rebadge but they are around

i believe the 80s impalas came in both 2 and 4 door options i wanted to build a 2 door but they are extreamly hard to find around here

all Impalas back to 59 were available in 2 & 4 door config. The only 2 door only year was 58. The 94-96, 00-05, 06+ were only 4 door.
