Just curious if anyone has a guestimate of what the cost would be to get a 2000-2005 style SS engine from a car boneyard and swap it with my LS engine - please factor in what labour might cost for this, as I can do my own oil change but am nowhere near mechanically inclined enough to swap engines .
To entertain the idea, what would I be looking at? Assuming this would be cheaper than buying a supercharger and then having to upgrade stuff like pistons, pulleys, etc to handle the extra power.

Sorry, I misread your post. I thought you wanted to go from a 3400 to a 3800 SC. Ignore the link I posted, that's more involved than what you would need to do. However my advice still stands if you can't do the work yourself, it's not worth dong.
