Look around your local junkyard for a newer impala ss with dual exhaust, I have a 2007 SS catback on my 2002 and it sounds great

I did the U-Bend delete too - what a goofy thing to have on there. What exactly was the purpose of having that 'kink' in the exhaust system? Figured there must be some reason they made them that way stock. Regardless, i took it out.

so the o2 sensor would be "protected" and not hanging out to the side

Hah, really? that was their reasoning, to protect that o2 sensor line? Hell just dont offroad your car, and it should be protected Razz

Doesn't sound too bad. What mufflers?
Myself, I would have spend the money fixing the rear bumper first Wink

Pretty slick! Getting the before and after video was a brilliant move. I was confused at first seeing the single pipe sticking out in a DUAL exhaust video, then I figured out what was happening lol. Was all of this a pretty expensive mod or did you come out okay?
