What are you dong that you are bottoming out? I've only scraped the exhaust on my car twice and that was when backing out of my parents driveway with a trunk full of stuff.

I think something is either installed incorrectly or you aren't getting rattling from the exhaust (perhaps it could be a busted endlink as that can produce rattles that sound like it might be the exhaust).

sounds like your exhaust is hanging too low, it should be well protected in the tunnel under the car

Bottom out after lkowering may be in part to where he lives.

Out here back streets are not too friendly to lowering. Some times not to friendly to stock height.

well there was one memorable time when i was pulling out of a steep side street onto a level main road and the vertex of the pavement jammed into the bottom of my car but otherwise if i hit a speed bump with like more than 2 people in the car i get a nice WACK

front tires, its the zzp downpipe thats causing the issue. i must have knocked it like a millimeter out of whack and now the o2 sensor is rubbing/vibrating against the heat shield thats right there. you can see marks on the heat shield from where its been rubbing against it down there.... how can i fix this??

Aside from fixing whatever you messed up to make it do that in the first place?

Remove the heat shield. Or give the heatshield a beating with a hammer.

it vibrates right where the plastic connector for the o2 sensor is, if i remove it or cut it back, will i be risking melting the o2 sensor connector?
