So after much deliberation, I decided to trade in my Ram for something a little more economical/something I can actually drive in the city (whether it be D.C. or Pittsburgh). And yes, I still have my Impala.

Without further adieu, here's my 2006 Chrysler 300c. Brilliant Black Metallic, Hemi (much more powerful and stronger than my Ram's Hemi), Nav, chrome rims, leather, sunroof, projector headlights. And the best thing. it gets double the city mileage than my truck and ~25mpg on the highway. I'll take it.

On the dealer's lot after my first test drive

After I had officially signed the paperwork and Tonka in the background.

I jokingly asked if I could have the bow off one of the showroom cars because its so close to Christmas. Well they took me seriously. So here's my Ogre self with the 300.

Oh, and the mod bug has already started. My Christmas gift to me is a catch can. This is only going to end poorly for my wallet. haha

Thanks for the compliments guys. I left this out of my first post, but I'd also like to thank PBSS and EmmJay for putting up with my questions when I was researching them. Cool

gg05impala, my trade was worth $11,500 (less than blue book because of a car accident) and the car was about $15,500. So I ended up paying a $4,000 difference. My payments only went up $15 a month too.

bill101, that front plate is long gone. My front temp plate is on there now because I bought it in VA, but once I get my PA tags, it'll be replaced with something nice. I haven't decided what yet.

Here are some more pics I took today.

I like those.... Rolling Eyes Laughing

for the front plate, flip the bracket. There is a "how to" on LXForums. It will put the plate and bracket below the grille. (much cleaner look) Requires a little cutting of the bracket, but real easy to do.

not all have the chrome, he has the chrome package like mine, otherwise, handles & mirrors would be body color and there wouldnt be any chrome on the top of the doors. All 300c's have the bumper caps and lower window trim in chrome.

So that's the pimpster edition with all the chrome? Looks pretty nice in my opinion. Very Happy

It is the pimpster edition. Laughing

PBSS, I figured you'd like these cars. lol I'm also going to scour through the LXForums how-to's and look for that. I'd really like to take it off, but I don't want to leave holes in the bumper, or put caps in it. Thanks again for all your help.

As far as murdering it out, that was on the docket, but for now, I think I'm going to keep the current look with only changing a few things such as the Chrysler emblems to Billet Technology ones and maybe the grill to something with only horizontal chrome slats. I definitely don't want anything with mesh.

Thanks again for all the compliments guys.

Grip makes a chrome version of my grille, or you can paint the vertical slats in the OEM grille.

Nice find lysol! Those HEMI 5.7's and the 5 speed automatic are quite a powertrain. I was very interested in finding a Magnum R/T before I found my Impala, but the ones I found had almost twice as much as the mileage on my Impala for close to the same price.

That is gorgeous. I have , from time to time, considered a 300C AWD. My main issue is that I have a lot of good relations and connections at service departments at GM dealers and none at any Chrysler dealers. Wink

PBSS, thats the exact grill I want. I like the stock grill, but I like to make sure my cars are a little different than all of the other BB 300c's out there.

I'm going to tell you guys, this car is amazing. There isn't anything I'd change about it, except the general mods. No exhaust on this one sadly Sad The woman said no way in hell. I wouldn't mind something with a VERY mild rumble that lets me hear the car when I start it up or when I go WOT.

TSS, I know your pain. The CJD dealership I used to deal with was closed because it was "too small" when Chrysler constricted and went through bankruptcy. I always got 15% off parts when I ordered something and got first hand info on my Jeep when it was in for service (they even gave me a few oil changes here and there). They're still open, but only as a used car lot and small mechanic shop. They lost years of maintainence knowledge when they lost the franchise too which is sad.

you want the Borla 112, its dead quiet until you punch it. If you want a little more grumble, remove the rear resonators and add some straight pipe and tips. Noticeable exhaust note at idle but not loud, absolutely screams at WOT.
