Hey everyone,

I just bought 2 15" kicker cvx's with a box and amp. the box i ended up sealing because it's too small for the subs ported. Ideally, the box should be tuned at 5 cubic feel for the best sound. How big can I go without hassling with it getting stuck between wheel wells and the rear windshield? tell me ur ideas. thanks!

I built a 4.5cuft sealed box for the two RE MX15's I had at one point. I want to say about 34" wide is the max you can go and about 16.75" high (once the 6x9s and factory amp are removed)

When I built the one I have now I put the angle of the sides in just to make some extra room. I also matched the angle against the seat. I also used fiberglass so I could "bend" or "form" around all the weird angles. With such a big box, have you thought about building it in place?
